Overview
As AI agents and bots flood online platforms, proving a real human is behind an account has become infrastructure rather than a nice-to-have. HumanLayer solves it without biometrics: instead of scanning your eye, it reads signals you have already accumulated — GitHub activity, on-chain history, ENS, Farcaster, Gitcoin — and scores them into a Human Score. The credential is issued as a soulbound NFT on Base L2 and proven with zero-knowledge proofs, so a platform can verify you are human without ever receiving your personal data.
What we built
- Multi-signal verification aggregating GitHub, on-chain history, ENS, Farcaster and Gitcoin
- Human Score model on a 0–144 scale derived from those signals
- Soulbound (non-transferable) ERC-721 credential issued on Base L2
- Zero-knowledge proof layer using UltraPlonk, verified on zkVerify
- AI Guardian bot detection to separate humans from automated accounts
- Developer surface: SDK, wagmi connector, React components, OAuth, REST API, webhooks and a Badge API
- Sign-In with Ethereum (EIP-4361) and support for any EVM wallet
